ROOM SERVICE saw the return of the iconic salesman Mr. Black (from Creep LA: AWAKE) as a featured experience at 2019’s Overlook Film Festival in New Orleans. In a haunted hotel suite in the historic French Quarter, guests were tucked in and read a bed-time story, Here Comes Mr. Black, before the titular character himself appears, stepping out of the wall and into reality. Here Comes Mr. Black is now a published (not-for-kids) children’s nursery rhyme book written by Daniel Montgomery, with nightmarish illustrations by Stephanie Delazeri.
